• The use of hammocks is allowed only if they are dry.
• You will have access to the refrigerator, a compartment for storing groceries, and the kitchen. We request that you leave it clean and organized.
• If you need to dry clothes, you will find clotheslines on the third floor. Hanging clothes on the railings is not permitted.
• The volume of the music should not be excessive and must be turned down by 11:00 PM at the latest.
• On weekends with holidays, as well as during peak season, the stay

• The camping service does not include towels or fans. It includes a mattress, pillows, sheets, access to social areas, and shared bathrooms. The camping area will be located on the terrace.
• To use the paddles, you must sign the usage contract and follow the associated policies.
• If additional accommodation is needed, an extra mattress service is available per night, only for bunk bed rooms.
• Your pets are welcome; however, you must inform us at the time of booking to receive the Pet Friendly regulations. Pets will only be accepted if the guest is in a private room. This policy does not apply to shared rooms (maximum of 5 pets per night).
• Services (water, electricity, gas, etc.) provided by Merakai Hostel should be used in accordance with conservation and environmental care guidelines, as we are located in an area with challenging access to basic services. To avoid rationing and ensure service quality and comfort, we request efficient use of water and energy throughout the hostel.
• Climbing onto the water tank located on the third floor and accessing any restricted areas of the hostel is prohibited. The individuals or group who book the accommodation service (manager or group representative) will assume responsibility for any accidents resulting from inappropriate behavior or misuse of the hostel's areas.
• The use of the third floor (viewing platform), kiosk, terrace, and balconies must be responsible. Minors must always be accompanied by an adult when using these areas. The use of these areas is strictly prohibited if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you do so, you will assume full responsibility for your actions (including any potential accidents).
• To avoid losing room keys, guests are encouraged to leave them at the reception. A charge of $50,000 will be deducted from the deposit for lost keys.
• The gray towels in the double and main rooms are for beach use; other rooms must rent them for $5,000. It is strictly prohibited to remove white towels, pillows, or sheets from the room.
• One towel per person will be provided for use in the room, if needed.

• For your convenience, we offer free shared luggage storage before check-in and after check-out. We have limited space, so please inform us in advance if you require this service.
• The reception is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so there will always be a member of the hostel team available to assist with any situation or request.
• The consumption of hallucinogenic substances is strictly prohibited inside and around the hostel.
• All minors must present their birth certificate. If they are not accompanied by one of their parents or legal guardians, they must present a notarized power of attorney, properly signed and authenticated, authorizing their stay.
• Currently, we do not offer electronic invoicing. All our invoices are issued in physical format. We appreciate your understanding.

We kindly request that all guests at our hostel adhere to good and appropriate behavior, as outlined in social norms (National Police Code). This includes respectful treatment of our staff (administrator, receptionists, housekeeping personnel), maintaining moderate noise levels, responsible supervision of minors, proper use of social areas, rational use of essential services such as water and electricity, and careful handling of hostel property (chairs, kitchen, room furnishings, air conditioner remote controls, etc.). These guidelines are in place to ensure good service and your comfort.

Please note that failure to comply with these rules or any other stipulated in the hostel's internal regulations will result in the immediate eviction of the entire group or the guest who violates these rules, with no right to any refund.
